For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when South Summit and Ben Lomond meet (five straight games heading into this one) and that held true again  on Thursday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Scots by a score of  7-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  20-6  on Thursday.
 The team  relied heavily on  Brody Larsen, who  scored a  run and  stole three bases. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in April of 2024.  Ammen Marchant was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-1.
South Summit's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Ben Lomond,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-9.
