There's no place like home for Moline, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Galesburg Silver Streaks with a sharp 8-2 win on Monday. Considering the Maroons have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Moline pushed their record up to 16-11 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Galesburg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season.

Moline will have a chance to go back-to-back against Galesburg: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
