Basketball Recap: Dreher Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Ada Croxton and Lacy Eaddy

Dreher was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Lancaster Bruins, falling 60-37. The Blue Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-15.

Dreher's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Lacy Eaddy, who posted eight points and four steals, and Ada Croxton, who had five points. That's the most points Croxton has posted since back in November of 2024.

Lancaster had a senior duo take command as Kemarja Peay went 9 of 14 on her way to 20 points and eight rebounds and Eliza Baskins went 6 for 14 en route to 21 points in addition to six assists and three steals. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for Peay. Another player making a difference was Zatyra Walls, who scored seven points and seven boards.

Dreher's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Lancaster, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.

While Dreher had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
