Trinity is 9-1 against Camp Hill since December of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Trinity Shamrocks will head out on the road to square off against the Camp Hill Lions at 7:30 p.m. Trinity knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 15 games -- so hopefully Camp Hill likes a good challenge.
Even though East Pennsboro scored an imposing 64 points on Tuesday, Trinity still came out on top. Trinity walked away with a 74-64 victory over East Pennsboro. Given Trinity's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while East Pennsboro is ranked 308th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Reece Brown and Owen Schlager were among the main playmakers for Trinity as the former scored 21 points along with five rebounds and the latter scored 23 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Schlager is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last 14 games he's played. Andre Steele was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Camp Hill pushed their score all the way to 59 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. The game between Camp Hill and Steelton-Highspire wasn't particularly close, with Camp Hill falling 73-59. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Saturday (56), Camp Hill still had to take the loss.
Trinity has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Camp Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.
Everything came up roses for Trinity against Camp Hill in their previous matchup on January 3rd as the team secured a 73-34 victory. With Trinity ahead 45-21 at the half, the game was all but over already.
