On Thursday, Ringgold was able to grind out a solid win over Coahulla Creek, taking the game 2-0.

Ringgold can attribute much of their success to Kinsley Killingsworth, who had 12 digs, and Olivia Jackson, who had three digs and two aces. That's the most digs Killingsworth has posted over her last six matches.
Meanwhile, North Cobb Christian beat Sonoraville 2-0 on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Phoenix: they've now won six in a row.
North Cobb Christian easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-20.
Ringgold's record is now 29-9. As for North Cobb Christian, their record now sits at 19-15.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Saturday's matchup: Ringgold has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7 aces per game. However, it's not like North Cobb Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.5 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
