It was a good run, but Somerset unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Stanley-Boyd Orioles by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Orioles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Friday.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Somerset sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 23-25, 15-7.

Somerset's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Stanley-Boyd, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Somerset didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Cadott on the 30th. As for Stanley-Boyd, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 win against McDonell Central on the 30th.
