Big Game from Korba As Peru Won 35-28
Starting off the list is Peru's Isaiah Korba, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Korba rushed for 210 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.
Peru's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-5. Korba and Peru are taking a road trip to square off against Maconaquah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Northwestern Wins Third-Straight Thanks to Brock Shank
Northwestern picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Brock Shank. Shank did his part (and then some), throwing for 378 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 15.8 yards per attempt for the 'W'. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Shank is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Benton Central on Friday. Shank threw for 299 yards and three touchdowns the last time he and the Bison duked it out back in September of 2023.

Noah Baldwin Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Noah Baldwin posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 228 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (109.8) per game.
Wabash's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-7. Baldwin and Wabash will take on Alexandria-Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Southwood had to settle for second on Friday, but Owen Enyeart sure wasn't going down easily. Lewis Cass had no answer to Enyeart as he made 11 total tackles. Enyeart's longest reception was for an incredible 85 yards.
Southwood is on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9. They and Triton are set to duel on Friday.

Aiden Robinson Turns in Another Game with at Least Three Passing Touchdowns
Aiden Robinson was instrumental in extending Maconaquah's winning streak to seven on Friday. Robinson made a major impact, throwing for 339 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes. The performance once again pushed his average passing yardage north of 300 yards per game (301.6). He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season.
Maconaquah pushed their record up to 8-0-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Robinson and Maconaquah will play host again on Friday to welcome Peru, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:00 p.m.
