The Highland Home Flying Squadron extended their postseason success on Thursday against the Zion Chapel Rebels. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 73-46 victory over the Rebels. Highland Home has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.
Several Rebels players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hayden Speckert, who scored six points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Joseph Legear, who scored 11 points.
Highland Home pushed their record up to 17-7 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.1 points per game. As for Zion Chapel, their loss dropped their record down to 21-9.
Highland Home does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Zion Chapel also has no future games currently scheduled.
