It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Shepherd Hill Regional Rams ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They skirted past Millbury 56-54. That's another feather in the cap for Shepherd Hill Regional, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
When it comes to explaining why Millbury lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kenny Donnelly. Despite the final result, he scored 21 points. Jimmer Donnelly was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Shepherd Hill Regional's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Millbury, their loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-1.

As for Millbury, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Grafton at 6:30 p.m. on January 8th. Grafton is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
