Avier Elvira's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Palmer Ridge was led to victory by Avier Elvira, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Elvira rushed for 169 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 59 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Air Academy had to settle for second on Friday, but Jackson Schmadeka sure wasn't going down easily. Schmadeka also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making four total tackles.

Stevens Made His Presence Known in Vista Ridge's 54-35 Win
Another Vista Ridge player making an appearance on this list is Zayden Stevens. He threw for 160 yards and four touchdowns.
Stevens and Vista Ridge will look to defend their home field on Friday against Rampart at 7:00 p.m. The Wolves had to take a loss when they last met the Rams, but Stevens had little to do with the loss: he threw for 147 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 92 yards on only nine carries. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
