With a playoff win on the line, Lake Brantley rose to the challenge on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Seminole Seminoles with a sharp 7-1 win. Considering the Patriots have won 12 matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The team also got some help courtesy of Rylie Morris, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.
The victory (which was Lake Brantley's 11th in a row) raised their record to 24-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Seminole, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.
Coming up, Lake Brantley will challenge Apopka at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Blue Darters have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Seminole does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
