In what's become a running theme this season, Southern gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. Everything went their way against Sandy Valley as Southern made off with a 65-43 victory.

Meanwhile, David Anderson had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They blew past Lordstown 52-10 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win David Anderson has managed all season.
Southern is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for David Anderson, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.
Southern took their victory against David Anderson when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 55-33. The rematch might be a little tougher for Southern since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
