It was a proper cat-fight when Paris faced off against Mount Vernon on Thursday. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Tigers 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Paris had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-19, 20-18.

Paris now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mount Vernon, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Paris didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Hughes Springs on the 15th.
