Scout Silva Delivers Best Effort of Season
Scout Silva produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Turlock to the win on Friday. Silva rushed for 106 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also threw for 132 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The victory (which was Turlock's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3. Silva and Turlock will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Enochs at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Vasquez Made His Presence Known in Gregori's 36-18 Victory
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Emmanuel Vasquez stepped things up a notch to give Gregori the 'W'. Vasquez was unstoppable, throwing for 186 yards and a touchdown while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushing for 32 yards and a touchdown. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making eight total tackles.
On the year, Vasquez has thrown 16 touchdowns while averaging 122.4 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 34.81 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 79.53 passer rating.

Davian Garcia Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Enochs had to settle for second even though Davian Garcia put up the best numbers he has all season. Garcia made six total tackles and defended a pass.

Vanntheesouk Dam Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Vanntheesouk Dam put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 161 yards and a touchdown. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (107.5).
Modesto has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. Dam and Modesto will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pitman at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Another Game with at Least Six Total Tackles from Noah Sacuskie
On Friday, Downey had to settle for second even though Noah Sacuskie put up the best numbers he has all season. Sacuskie wasn't messing around, picking up two sacks, forcing a fumble, and making ten total tackles. The matchup was his eighth straight with six or more total tackles.
Downey moved to 7-1 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak. Sacuskie and Downey will take on Enochs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
