Brownfield won the last time they faced Kermit and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cubs were the clear victors by a 23-5 margin over the Yellow Jackets. The Cubs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

Brownfield's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-12. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Kermit, they now also have a losing record of 11-12.
