In what's become a running theme this season, the Choctaw County Chargers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Nettleton with a sharp 77-55 victory. The victory was nothing new for Choctaw County as they're now sitting on seven straight.
It was another big night for Caleb Cunningham, who scored 27 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Treyvionne Woodard was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Choctaw County pushed their record up to 16-3 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.1 points per game. As for Nettleton, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8.
Choctaw County will head out on the road to challenge the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Nettleton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully the Chargers likes a good challenge. As for Nettleton, they will look to defend their home court against the Chargers at 7:30 p.m. Choctaw County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 198 points over their last three matches.
