Softball Recap: Arcadia Wins Going Away Against La Crosse Central

While Arcadia put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for La Crosse Central. The Raiders were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Riverhawks. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Arcadia has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for La Crosse Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arcadia will welcome Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Red Hawks will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight. As for La Crosse Central, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Holmen at 5:00 p.m.
