Space Coast's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Taylor Hill, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lashiya Walker, who scored eight points.
Satellite lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Alyna Lora, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Keira Merrick, who scored six points along with four steals.
Space Coast's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Satellite, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Space Coast won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Titusville at 5:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Titusville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 500th, while Space Coast is ranked 248th). Satellite won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Edgewood at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Edgewood will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
