The Pitman Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 56-43 to Clayton. Pitman has not had much luck with the Clippers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Clayton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rainelle Blocker, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 17 rebounds. Blocker is crushing the rebound category: she's posted at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Deondria Simon, who scored 16 points along with three steals.
Pitman has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Clayton, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.
Pitman will be playing at home against the Clippers at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Clayton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Monday.
