The South View Tigers waltzed into their contest  Tuesday with two straight wins  but they left with three. They put the hurt on Gray's Creek with a sharp  48-27 victory. That's another feather in the cap for South View, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
 South View got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Unity Youngblood out in front who  scored eight points along with 11  rebounds and five  blocks. Those five  blocks set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was  Nahmiah Aekins, who  dropped  a double-double on 13 points and ten  rebounds.
 South View's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 4-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points per game. As for Gray's Creek, they are  on a five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-5.
 South View won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against E.E. Smith at 7:00  p.m.  on December 20th. E.E. Smith presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than South View in North Carolina (E.E. Smith is ranked 103rd, while South View is ranked 212th). Gray's Creek won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against Hoke County at 4:00  p.m.  on December 20th. Hoke County is coming into the  contest on a three-game losing streak.
