The Chickasaw Chieftains entered their tilt with the Mobile Christian Leopards with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Chickasaw came out on top in a nail-biter against Mobile Christian on Tuesday and snuck past 55-52. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Chickasaw also won the last time the pair played two weeks ago.
JaMarion Osborne continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds. The match was his seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydrus Gilmore, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Several Leopards players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nicklaus Allen, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Hakeem Winston, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Chickasaw pushed their record up to 6-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Mobile Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chickasaw will take on Bayshore Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mobile Christian, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Bayside Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th.
