The Graham-Kapowsin Eagles entered their tilt with the Rogers Rams with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Graham-Kapowsin walked away with a 69-59 win over Rogers on Wednesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the defeat, Rogers had strong showings from Jakeem Richardson, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds, and Dylan Gilderhus, who scored 18 points. Those five rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Avary, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
Graham-Kapowsin has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season. As for Rogers, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Graham-Kapowsin will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Emerald Ridge at 7:00 p.m. As for Rogers, they will head out on the road to face off against Bethel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Kametrius Babbs and Treyshawn Weatherspoon.
