Warren put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Jay and snuck past 2-1. This was payback for Warren, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Anthony Alaquinez and
Bryan Reyna, who scored.
Warren pushed their record up to 9-0 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 3.8 goals per game. As for Jay, their loss dropped their record down to 6-1-1.
Warren will head out on the road to square off against Harlan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harlan's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Jay, they will be playing at home against Stevens at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stevens and Jay are at an even 2-2-6 over their past ten head-to-heads.
