Monsignor Pace came into Wednesday's contest looking for another win against Schoolhouse Prep, but Hector Samaniego wouldn't allow it. The Schoolhouse Prep Wolfpack secured a 48-43 W over the Monsignor Pace Spartans on Wednesday thanks in part to Samaniego, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Teagan Jordan, who posted six points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Easton Gelin, who earned seven points in addition to ten boards and four steals.

The win got Schoolhouse Prep back to even at 2-2. As for Monsignor Pace, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Schoolhouse Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 81-28 victory against Somerset Academy South Homestead on the 5th. As for Monsignor Pace, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-48 loss against Keys Gate on the 5th.
