Meanwhile, Calumet Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They strolled past Mooseheart with points to spare, taking the game 77-63. The win was some much needed relief for Calumet Christian as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Calumet Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brad Nymeyer led the charge by dropping a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Nymeyer hasn't dropped below three steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Rivera, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten assists.
Quentin Road Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Calumet Christian, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-15.
Quentin Road Christian was dealt a bruising 89-21 loss at the hands of Calumet Christian in their previous matchup back in November of 2022. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Quentin Road Christian was down 52-14.
