The Augusta Orioles will head out on the road to take on the Buhler Crusaders on Friday. Augusta is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Last Tuesday, Augusta was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 52-48 to Rose Hill.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought contest, but Buhler had to settle for a 44-41 defeat against Winfield on Monday.
Augusta's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-11. As for Buhler, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
Augusta strolled past Buhler when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 53-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Augusta since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
