Dekker Thomas made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs.
In other batting news, Larue County got a massive performance out of Brayden Singleton, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Larue County is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Washington County, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.
