Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Arthur). They walked away with a 61-48 win over the Kaplan Pirates on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Lake Arthur's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9. As for Kaplan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Lake Arthur won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Grand Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kaplan, they and Bell City will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
