The Franklin Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Morris Catholic Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Franklin posted their biggest win yet this season on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Pennington as Franklin made off with a 62-40 win. The victory was all the more spectacular given Franklin's disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while Pennington is ranked 18th).
Meanwhile, Morris Catholic put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They had just enough and edged St. Rose out 55-52. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Morris Catholic has posted yet this season.
Morris Catholic's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mia Pauldo, who scored nine points along with seven assists and three steals. Pauldo is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Mya Pauldo was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three steals.
Franklin's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Morris Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 14-0.
