Washington (Miami, Fla.) kept up a steady attack all game long to defeat
Jackson (Miami, Fla.), 35-6, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a
Treon Harris touchdown run in the first quarter, the Tornadoes were up 21-0 at the half.
Washington expanded its lead to 35 points entering the fourth quarter. WHS scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by Harris to
Lamar Parker.
Jackson's lone touchdown came on an 8-yard pass in the fourth quarter.
The Tornadoes also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 44-29.
The loss comes after Jackson defeated Norland 26-7 last week. The loss broke Jackson's two-game winning streak. With the win Washington extended its winning streak to four games.
