Last Tuesday, Jonesboro didn't have too much trouble with Mount Calm on the road as they won 57-43. That's two games straight that Jonesboro has won by exactly 14 points.
Meanwhile, Gholson ended up a good deal behind Aquilla on Tuesday and lost 55-41.
Despite the loss, Gholson had strong showings from Aaron Salinas, who scored 14 points, and Hudson Thomas, who scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Thomas has scored all season.
Jonesboro now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Gholson, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-8.
Jonesboro strolled past Gholson in their previous meeting on January 2nd by a score of 46-28. Will Jonesboro repeat their success, or does Gholson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
