The Lincoln Golden Bears were the 21-0 winner over the St. Clair County Fighting Saints when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Lincoln took a 18-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Clair County on Friday. Lincoln has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for St. Clair County, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln will take on Leeds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Leeds presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lincoln in Alabama (Leeds is ranked 77th, while Lincoln is ranked 236th). As for St. Clair County, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Springville at 7:00 p.m.
