Jackson Boykin's Big Game Leads South Choctaw Academy over Patrician Academy
Jackson Boykin was instrumental in extending South Choctaw Academy's winning streak to eight on Thursday. Boykin turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 147 yards and three touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
South Choctaw Academy pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Boykin and South Choctaw Academy will welcome Morgan Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Southern Academy had to settle for second even though Drew Rogers put up the best numbers he has all season. Rogers threw for 260 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes, and also rushed for 44 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the season, Rogers has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 158.7 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had two passing touchdowns.

For the season, Carroll has averaged 21.1 passing yards per game.
