After a string of four wins, The Caddo Mills Foxes''s good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They had to suffer through a rough 45-14 loss at the hands of Sunnyvale. Caddo Mills was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.
Although Caddo Mills took the loss, they still got scores from Alfonzo Gonzales and Josh Ivey.
Sunnyvale found their leader in underclassman Nelson Peterson jr, who rushed for 23 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 132 yards and a touchdown.
Caddo Mills' loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Sunnyvale, their win was their third straight at home , which pushed their record up to 8-2.
Caddo Mills will take on Wills Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sunnyvale, they will head out on the road to face off against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 790th, while Sunnyvale is ranked 235th).
