The Bohemia Manor Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Caravel Academy Buccaneers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Bohemia Manor is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.
Last Tuesday, Bohemia Manor got the win against Elkton by a conclusive 13-3. Considering the Eagles have won nine games by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lyla Wescoat (2027) made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 14 over 5.2 innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Temperance Fitzimmons (2025) was a standout: she scored two runs while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Elizabeth Marcum (2027), who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Bohemia Manor kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in eight consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Caravel Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over North East on Wednesday, taking the game 7-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buccaneers.
The team relied heavily on Zayda Rocke, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
Bohemia Manor's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.2 runs. As for Caravel Academy, their record is now 4-1.
