Wilmington will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Bedford at 7:00 PM. Wilmington will be hoping to build upon the 41-13 win they picked up against Bedford the last time they played.
Wilmington had to kick off their season on the road last Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They skirted past Shawsheen Valley Tech 10-7. The margin of victory was a little narrower than expected seeing as Wilmington are ranked 112 places ahead of Shawsheen Valley Tech in the state rankings.
Meanwhile, Bedford were out to avenge their 33-43 defeat to Burlington from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Bedford suffered a grim 7-28 defeat to Burlington. This makes it the second loss in a row for Bedford.
Wilmington's win lifted them to 1-0 while Bedford's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll see if Wilmington's success rolls on or if Bedford are able to steal their positive momentum.
