The Sherman Tide scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They walked away with a 77-69 win over Hannan. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the loss, Hannan still got an impressive performance from Eli Chapman, who dropped a double-double on 34 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Chapman has scored all season. Cameron Wright was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Sherman's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Hannan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sherman will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on the Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on February 13th. As for Hannan, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Blazers at 7:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Hopefully Bloomingdale focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
