Revere is 2-8 against Lynn English since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Revere Patriots will head out on the road to face off against the Lynn English Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m.
Last Tuesday, things could have been worse for Revere, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 59-41 loss to Lynn Classical.
Meanwhile, Lynn English had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past Medford 86-49 on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 51-20.
Lynn English got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kyle Kemembin out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Marvin Perkins was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Revere's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lynn English, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Revere took a serious blow against Lynn English in their previous matchup back in January, falling 80-36. Can Revere avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
