Baseball Recap: Hamilton Extends Winning Streak to Three

Hamilton entered their tilt with Monroe on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Hornets.

Kaleb Powers was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Deion Otis, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Hamilton's record is now 10-12. As for Monroe, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 11-5 record.

Coming up, Hamilton will be playing in front of their home fans against Northwest at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Monroe, they will square off against Ross at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rams' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Hornets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
