After having lost a blowout to Conneaut in their previous contest, Iroquois were happy to find some success on Friday. Iroquois walked away with a 16-8 victory over Vincentian Academy. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Iroquois as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
The win bumped Iroquois' record up to 1-4. The defeat dropped Vincentian Academy's record to 0-2.
Iroquois will look to defend their home turf next week against Northwestern at 7:00 PM. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous games. Vincentian Academy will have some time to rest before their next match, which is against Philipsburg-Osceola in two weeks at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
