Solano County recap Nov. 7, 2012
American Canyon extended the longest winning streak in Solano County this week by beating Benicia, 40-30. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Vanden took down Fairfield 56-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Ren Littlepage ran for 206 yards in the win.
The Panthers' dynamic duo of Ryan Bohnet and Jared Hanson-Regaldo proved tough for Ian MacMillan's team to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Bohnet threw for 266 yards and two touchdowns and Hanson-Regaldo had 135 yards receiving. James Hyde-Jr. helped Benicia's passing attack out by catching seven balls for 48 yards.
Jomon Dotson was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 230 yards on 22 carries as American Canyon fell to American Canyon. Michael Rapacon also contributed to the rushing game with 38 yards on the ground.
Craig Holden's team's Bohnet and Hyde-Jr. have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Bohnet has thrown for 2355 yards this season, while Hyde-Jr., a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 53 catches for 838 yards. Dotson from American Canyon leads the league in rushing with 1774 yards.
The Vikings led Solano County in scoring this week after putting up 56 points on the Falcons. Littlepage in the win.
