Loving dropped their record down to 14-8 on Saturday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Santa Rosa Lions by a score of 7-6. The Falcons were not able to make up for their loss to the Lions from their previous meeting back in May of 2018.

As for Santa Rosa, the victory was the 19th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.8 runs over those games.

For Santa Rosa's part, their victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Andre Chavez, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. David Chavez was another, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run.

As of now, neither Loving nor Santa Rosa have any future games scheduled.
