After two games on the road, Robbinsville is heading back home. They will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Bordentown Scotties at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Robbinsville's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Last Thursday, Robbinsville narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Lawrence 56-54.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought contest, but Bordentown had to settle for a 55-53 defeat against Westampton Tech on Thursday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bordentown has scored all season.
Defeat or not, Bordentown got some senior leadership from Eunmin Choi who scored ten points along with five steals and Andrew DeCosta who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. The contest was DeCosta's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Myles Hansford was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Robbinsville's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Bordentown, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Robbinsville came up short against Bordentown in their previous matchup back in March of 2020, falling 64-57. Can Robbinsville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
