The Onteora Eagles lost to the Tri-Valley Bears back in September of 2021, but the Onteora Eagles didn't allow the Tri-Valley Bears the same satisfaction on Saturday. Everything went Onteora's way against Tri-Valley as Onteora made off with a 40-20 win.
Onteora was led to victory by Griffin Alterio and Reese Rotella. Alterio gained 191 total yards and three touchdowns, while Rotella threw for 303 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.2 yards per attempt. Cole Matteson did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 120 receiving yards.
Onteora's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Tri-Valley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Onteora does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tri-Valley also has no future games currently scheduled.
