Nick Carmino, Point Pleasant Boro's leading hitter, solidified his role on Wednesday. Nobody could stop Carmino as he scored two runs while going 2-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Point Pleasant Boro's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-5 when he doesn't).

Carmino's strong effort led Point Pleasant Boro over Liberty and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
