Softball Recap: Wisdom Wins Going Away Against Madawaska

Wisdom's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Madawaska Owls as they made off with a 13-3 win. Considering the Pioneers have won seven games by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Wisdom has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Madawaska, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Wisdom does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Madawaska, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hodgdon at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
