Anthony Wayne came out on top against Napoleon on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fourth inning. The Generals put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 9-2 victory. Considering the Generals have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Anthony Wayne is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Napoleon, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-6-1.

Looking ahead, Anthony Wayne will square off against St. Francis de Sales at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Generals 2.7, the Knights 4) so any runs scored will be well earned. Napoleon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
