Centennial came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Mansfield Legacy Broncos with points to spare, taking the game 74-56. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Broncos are ranked 448th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Mansfield Legacy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

When Centennial and Mansfield Legacy next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Centennial will try to stop Midland Legacy's three-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on December 26th. Similarly, Mansfield Legacy will face off against North Crowley and their nine-game winning streak at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
