Wimberley dropped down to 6-4 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a 21-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lago Vista Vikings. Despite 61 more yards than the Vikings, the Texans couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
Maverick Jacobs and Bennett German certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Jacobs rushed for 101 yards and one score, while German picked up 154 receiving yards.
