While Sylvan Hills put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Mount St. Mary Academy. The Bears put the hurt on the Belles with a sharp 16-0 win. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by 14 runs or more this season.

Sylvan Hills pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Mount St. Mary Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Sylvan Hills beat the Belles by a score of 19-0 later that day.
